Family Worship Philosophy
Get up. Eat. Dress. Drop off the children at child care or school. Go to work. Pick up the children. Rush to music lesson, Scouts or ball practice. Grab dinner. Do homework. Do housework. Go to bed. Repeat.
Such is life in many families today.
NCCC believes that amid our hectic lives one of the most important times families of any shape can share is in worshipping God together. By singing, praying, listening, giving, and learning as a family, adults demonstrate their love of and faith in Christ while children absorb the message of God’s love and the values that can guide them in life.
To help, NCCC seeks to make worship of God accessible to all ages and invites families to worship together. For those who prefer, we offer a nursery for infants and toddlers through age 3 and Prayground, a supervised space at the back of the worship center for children age 4 through 2nd grade to praise God and learn in age-appropriate ways.
Making Friends, Growing in Faith
The best place to grow as a follower of Jesus is in a small group of people who seek God together. That is why NCCC offers numerous ConneXion Groups. Some meet on Sundays; others meet throughout the week. Some are for everyone, including children, while others are for women or men. Some use video-enhanced studies of the Bible; others focus on topics of interest. All bring together people to laugh, learn and grow as followers of Jesus. For more information about a group, conact the church or the group’s leader.
